Applications can be either with a completely new concept or with minor improvements to ensure a sustainable approach. The following 4 main level references are accepted:

SOCIAL IMPACT

The business world has the potential to contribute to society and create and manage social change. The social impact category evaluates the development and implementation of business models/projects/practices that aims to solve an existing and compelling social problem in the best way and adding common values to the business world. Applications to this category are evaluated in two categories as Environment Oriented Social Projects and Human Oriented Social Projects.

The business models/projects/practices that integrates different culture, religion, race, gender, age and thought structures and disadvantaged groups into the work processes of the organization within the scope of diversity are evaluated in this category. Applications for women's empowerment in the business world are not considered in this category. Applications within this scope should be made in the category of WOMEN EMPOWERMENT.

Beyond the traditional cooperation models, in line with their common objectives, the projects developed by more than one institution where they achieve sustainable results by using the power of cooperation and innovation that shapes the future together, creating profitability with measurable impact and cooperating in competition are evaluated within this category. Cooperation between institutions should have a common, redefined sustainability (environmental, social, economic impact) target within the scope of their activities. The business models/projects/practices that apply to this category are evaluated in two different categories as B2B and B2NGO

  • B2B Cooperation: Collaborations between private sector organizations (profit-making organizations)
  • B2NGO Cooperation: Cooperation between private sector organizations (non-profit organizations) and non-governmental organizations (non-profit organizations)
The cooperating institutions should be given mutual approval.

In this category, business models/projects/practices that create value and supplier loyalty through end-to-end supply chain management with a holistic approach by placing human rights, economic and environmental rights in the supply chain in order to reduce the risks arising from these impacts through comprehensive evaluation and cooperation.

Effective and pioneering models in business, which eliminate gender roles and all kinds of discrimination by equalitarian policies, enable women to be empowered by including them in the business world fairly, and fill the quantitative data with qualified steps, are evaluated in this category. This award is given to the business models/projects/practices that create value through a holistic approach in order to strengthen the women's business life through various programs on human rights, equal opportunities, gender perception.

This award is given to the business models/projects/practices which are developed with the aim of ensuring the employees' personal happiness and goals, and simultaneously achieving their emotional commitment and corporate goals.

Organizations that aim to achieve social transformation in the fields of education, health, environment and human rights in the context of sustainable development; that use the business activities as a tool for achieving their goals, aim to create permanent change, disseminate their solutions and eliminate the problem by gaining the support of the society in the long term, are considered in this category.

STARTUP OF THE YEAR

STARTUP OF THE YEAR


This award is given to starters (Startup), who place sustainability at the heart, have the ability to grow without geographical restriction, and aim to create a social and / or environmental impact for a better future. In order to be selected, the companies have to be commenced between 1 January 2014 and 15 August 2018.
